HEAD OF MANAGED SERVICES - NETWORK OPTIMISATION/3G/4G/LTE
We are seeking highly skilled, motivated candidates, to lead a team of architects and advanced proof of concept activities, for a mobile telecoms client, based to the West of Dublin.
Within this role successful candidates will add deep knowledge of service area, which includes wireless network planning and optimization, management service and service tool family architecture.
Because of the nature of this role, successful candidates will need to come from a mobile telecoms, managed service provider.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Lead and direct advanced technology research in Ireland DC.
- Interface to HQ, senior management presentations and customer engagements.
- Strategic direction of technology adoption and portfolio realization.
- Direct and manage architecture and proof of concept teams.
- Discuss with customers on business requirements and present to stakeholders.
- Technology roadmap and innovation planning.
- Technical specification and technical reporting.
ABILITIES AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Multiple industry years experience in a mobile telecoms managed service environment
- Several years of R&D or service delivery working experience in mobile telecoms
- Hands on experience in technology leading roles and a can-do attitude
- Excellent Knowledge in end-to-end MBB network evaluation and optimization, network planning, management service, 3G/4G/LTE, SQM, CEA, OSS, BSS, NFV/SDN
- Strong leadership skills with proven track record of advanced prototyping
- Strong understanding of relevant business models in cloud systems.
