Head of Learning Services/Head of Learning and Development/L&D Design

I have an urgent requirement for Head of Learning Services to work for my client, a blue chip mobile telecoms company to join their team in the Berkshire area on a contract basis.

As the Head of Learning Services you will be involved in developing the learning design strategy and framework of training programmes across the client, working innovatively to drive toward a blended learning strategy that wholly supports the client's culture and future capability needs.

Responsibilities will include:
*Providing leadership and performance management of learning services team to meet key objectives/deliverables.
*Act as a key leader within People and Property driving a one team culture.
*Being accountable for core curriculum of learning solutions and training courses for Head Office sites.
*Collaborate with Head of Leadership and Management and Head of Channel Training to ensure all programmes follow quality design strategy and are fit for purpose.
*Lead L&D team on standards of quality supplier selection, budget management and relationship management.
*Support the Director of Talent by leading and managing governance process for the entire function.
*Leading a team of 3 design consultants, 2 central L&D consultants and the LMS consultant.
*You will be looking at the whole training strategy for Head Office, Retail and Customer Service.

Our Client is looking for a Head of Learning Services with the following essential skills:
*Considerable experience and understanding of design of Learning Frameworks and programmes in a corporate environment.
*Understanding and experience of implementing best practice employee engagement programmes and processes.
*Experience of owning the entire Learning Framework and design of training for various audiences.
*Credibility at a senior level and ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
*Strong programme management and organisational skills proficient in planning, organisation and management of projects.
*Experience of selecting and managing external suppliers to derive quality and value learning solutions.
*Strong people management skills with evidence and experience of coaching and performance management of a team.
