Head of Kanban

The new opportunity of a Head of Kanban has become available to take this company to the next level. The Head of Kanban will be reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager. You will be responsible for the management and administration of Kanban agreements and associated activities with suppliers and internal stakeholders. You will also have 1-2 people reporting into yourself.

Interested? We are looking for an experienced Operations/Logistics/Supply chain engineer who is looking to step up into a senior Kanban role. You will have extensive experience working in a lean manufacturing environment and coming from a medium to low volume/high variety background. You will have experience of working with Kanban systems and more importantly working very closely with suppliers. Excellent analytical skills are paramount in this role, as well as a thorough grounding in Microsoft Excel. If you have experience in electro-mechanical parts and Microsoft Navision, this will put you at a distinct advantage.

The salary on offer is circa £35,000 + 25 days holidays.
