Head of Inpatient Services (NHS Management)

Head of Inpatient Services to work for a major NHS Trust. Our customer has restructured and is now looking for a Head of Inpatient Services on a interim basis.

The role will be based in Birmingham.

The nature of the role will be to deliver a range of inpatient and supporting services. You will be responsible for implementing effective services across Secondary, Primary Care and Social Care reflecting core national and organisational policy requirements. You will be clinically supported by individual hospital matrons.

You will be accountable for performance, delivery, budgetary management and development of Community Inpatient Health Services whilst ensuring contestability and organisational development for the future. You will ensure that governance and performance processes are Embedded in clinical service delivery and that patient safety and experience is used to determine priorities for local service improvement.

The ideal candidate will have similar experience to the above, coupled with experience of working in the Health/NHS or Social Care sector. You will have strong experience of leading staff through complex change and managing budgets. A background and professional qualifications is nursing etc is seen as highly desirable but not essential.
