Role Profile:
Great interim opportunity for an experienced Head of Infrastructure to support us through a large transformation programme. Reporting to the CIO you will manage, motivate and drive our core infrastructure, application support and service desk teams to ensure the right service is being delivered. Alongside this the role holder will be responsible for supporting a huge infrastructure transformation programme including delivery of a cloud migration to AWS.

Key aspects of the role:
•Effectively manage people - coaching and developing internal teams.
•Provide technical support and expert knowledge to internal teams.
•Vet and understand the solutions provided by 3rd parties.
•Effectively manage suppliers and 3rd party relationships.
•Create and implement Service Level Agreements with internal and external stakeholders.
•Delivery of transformational projects within this area.
•Understand and report on commercial impact of projects.
•Create and manage short and long-term goals for the department.
•Effectively communicate at all levels within the organisation and with external partners.

Experience required:
•Proven people management and coaching skills essential - ideally teams of 40+
•Proven management of large transformation projects, E.g. Total infrastructure refresh, cloud migrations
•Prior experience of managing 3rd party supplier relationships is essential.
•Technical expertise in relation to services provided by our 3rd party providers is essential
•Must have experience of supporting web/ecommerce infrastructure.
•Prior experience of managing large scale projects and areas of commercial investment
•Exceptional planning, organising and communication skills
•Prior experience of creating and delivering SLA's to a high standard.
•Must have a clear and flexible communication style and be open to constructive feedback when given
•Ability to influence key stakeholders and drive change
•Comfortable with managing multiple projects in a complex and fast paced environment
•Expert knowledge of industry and market trends
