Head of Infrastructure and Resilience Risk

Our client, a Financial Services organisation, has a requirement for a Head of Infrastructure and Resilience Risk to lead both the Divisional risk management and the group-wide Risk Key Control Function (KCF) in line with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. The focus will be on the Infrastructure and Resilience KCF across the whole organisation including Finance, Group Ops, Group services and Retail. Due to the infrastructure/systems focus, candidates will need to have a technical understanding of IT (ITIL/COBIT) for assessing & reporting IT Risk.

QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

- Relevant professional qualification to degree level or equivalent.
- A well-developed understanding of risk management principles associated with large and complex transformation programmes within Financial Services.
- Skilled in risk and trend identification and mitigation techniques. Ability to analyse risk metrics and translate into predictive data and action plans that anticipate and mitigate risk exposures.
- Ability to demonstrate decisiveness and sound judgement on a consistent basis.
- Analytical/creativity skills to resolve complex problems and/or establish alternatives where established procedures may not exist.
- Exceptional learning agility with a keen desire to support the learning of others.
- Strong desire to produce work to the highest standards that is able to withstand robust challenge where appropriate.
- Ability to think strategically, demonstrating thought leadership whilst being capable of translating concepts into effective solutions within acceptable timeframes and budgets.
- 5 years of IT Risk experience in a Financial Services environment would be ideal.
