My client is a global financial services organisation in need of a talented Head of Facility Operations -EMEA who has extensive experience in a facilities environment across Emea

Head of Facility Operations -EMEA Immediate priorities:

Ensure compliance with FM policies and standard.
Build operational familiarity with the sites including critical systems and life support systems.
To gain a good understanding of sites within the remit.
Develop an impact based travel plan with around 50% of time spent travelling in region

The Head of Operations EMEA is to be responsible for the day to day oversight and troubleshooting of Facilities Management operations in EMEA, excluding engineering activities. The role is pro-active and decisive able to offer advice and support to the zone leads and facilities managers as well as take an active role in contract negotiation and deployment, ensuring the quality and statutory standards are met and fully compliant. The role is essential in providing a strong support lead and subject matter skill set as a key member of the EMEA team. The role will be based between Croydon and London with a high amount (50%+) of travel required in the region.

Experience of working in a facilities environment within multiple countries essential.
10 years solid Facilities Management experience in a corporate environment.
Ability to organise and manage contracts/vendors
Technical familiarity,
Membership of an accredited FM body - BIFM, IFMA desirable.
NEBOSH qualification or equivalent essential

High degree of literacy, numeracy and accuracy
Fluent English essential with strong local communication skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Track record of successful change management and implementation

Head of Facility Operations -EMEA - Client & Office Services
Supporting the delivery of all Office Services functions as necessary to ensure the smooth running of the business through the on site teams, responsibilities to include but may not be limited to the following:

Vending
Catering/Hospitality
Archiving
Company cars
Stationary and print
Mailroom
Meeting room setup
AV

Head of Facility Operations -EMEA - Property Management and Real Estate
Strong technical bias with an engineering and technical background (electrical, HVAC, water and air quality) and experience of managing maintenance and repairs directly, with third party vendors and also landlords.
First point of contact for response and diagnose of issues, leading locally to a satisfactory conclusion.

Head of Facility Operations -EMEA -Procurement and Vendor Management
Create and manage purchase order requisitions.
Monitor and assess the country Vendor Management process ensuring contracts are appropriately signed off and standards are in line with the expected SLAs.
Review the tender processes in country, ensuring they are carried out on an annual basis in a fair and transparent manner taking into consideration applicable local legal requirements.

Head of Facility Operations -EMEA -Budget
Contribute to the management of the budget and cost control.
Manage the process in identifying within country, areas where savings can be achieved to reduce the current spend in the budget by targets set out by Senior Management.
Work with Regional Finance for budget forecasting and month/quarter closure to ensure countries report actuals and accruals to their finance teams for the relevant period.

UK Property and Facilities Manager - Security
Work with Regional Security to ensure that any requirements identified regarding the physical security of all buildings occupied and ensure they are in line with Global Security standards are addressed in addition to the standards required under the local law and regulation.

Head of Facility Operations -EMEA Records
Provide appropriate operational support for the operational aspects of record keeping
