Hardware Engineer - Automotive Electronics

A long term and urgent opportunity for a Hardware Engineer with automotive electronics background.

As a Hardware Engineer you will be a part of a small team and be responsible for (electronics to mechanics) components containing Radio Transceivers, Displays and other A-Surfaces.
You will join the existing project, which is now in their final stages and later on support a start up project of a brand new ECU.

Skills & Experience Required:

- 3-5 years+ experience in hardware design, preferably with automotive electronics
- Experience with radio transceiver, displays, LIN components, sensors, actuators desired

Key Responsibilities:

*Write Technical Requirements according to input requirements.
*Lead TR review with Test & Verification.
*Responsible for building Test Requirement Analysis (TRA) with the supplier and for its agreement.
*Provide installation requirements to the geometrical architect (eg CVDE, CAB).
*Secure the installation of the component (location, fixation, mounting ).
*Validate electrical schematics relating to the components, according to system/subsystem requirements and to the component Technical Requirement and supplier input.
*Secure input documentation for Hardware-EDR and represent ECU Hardware in Engineering Design Review for releases.
*Follow up the development by the supplier: review of technical specification, design review, process review.
*Secure the signing of Product Application Agreement (PAA) with the supplier
*Involvement on patents proposal within his/her expertise area.
*Write and get approval of the Statement of Work (SOW) (if the Hardware part is the product)
*Coordinate overall quality activities for the Hardware part (FMEA, DR, ChO )
*Responsible to secure approval and manage Hardware deviations
