Hardware Engineer - £40,000 pa - Hampshire

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hardware Engineer to join a FTSE100 engineering company based in the Hampshire area.

You will join an expanding electronics and firmware team based and be responsible for the transfer of energy products to low cost suppliers. To do this, you will need to gather technical data, export them and provide technical support to manufacturers. Part of your role will also involve maintenance related tasks, including partial re-design, resolving obsolescence issues and customer problems.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 pa plus excellent benefits

Your Profile/ Skills:
* Degree educated in electronics or equivalent discipline
* ~5 years commercial experience as a hardware engineer
* Experience of New Product Introduction (NPI)
* Knowledge of EMC test and qualification
* Experience with safety related systems (beneficial)
* FPGA (beneficial)

This role also involves occasional travel to their design offices in Europe to support ongoing test and validation. As such flexibility for international travel is necessary.
