Hardware Engineer

Hardware Engineer/Electronics engineer

£300-340 per day

Location: North London

Initial 6 month contract with extensions

A market leading organisation are looking for Hardware Engineers to join an expanding team within their Communications Systems division, on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for the design and development of complex digital and analogue circuits in communication systems.
The role requires candidates to have experience with, The designing of analogue and digital electronics to support a wide range of interface standards, Reviewing designs for design architectures, schematics and PCB layout, Documentation of the design including component selection, Bill of Material management and design trade-offs, Be able to develop circuit schematics for board layout, have experience of system integration of designed circuits for verification testing, and be able to support to software and firmware design teams.

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

Required
- High speed digital design experience including FPGA and Microcontroller
- Design of analogue interfaces in communication environments
- Mixed digital/analogue design experience
- Timing analysis
- Board specification, schematic design and board manufacture experience

Desirable
- EMI design considerations.
- Design considerations related to high density, mixed-signal circuits.
- Mentor PADS.
- Product development life cycle, particularly inter-circuit connectivity solutions
- Qualification testing related to specialist test houses, environmental, EMC and TEMPEST.
