In this position, you will be developing C or C++ behavior models of hardware systems and support hardware emulation and validation, working closely with RTL and Verilog Validation Engineers. Hardware emulation is becoming a critical tool to help develop and launch products faster.

You will have to understand early stage architecture specification to develop, validate, and maintain a software behavior model that conforms to the hardware specification for the purpose of firmware development and hardware validation.

You will aid with test plans, test benches and functional tests in system Verilog. Prepare specifications, evaluates requirements, and analyzes test reports. Ensures logic conforms to standards and specifications. You will be working in a fast-paced, team environment and must be able to multitask, and collaborate across engineering disciplines and geographies.

- Perform simulation, random and focused stimulus generation and coverage analysis.
- Develop and maintain emulation models, bus functional models, transactors, monitors, checkers and trackers.
- Participate in test plan development and review
- Support customer debug and execution
- Develop and maintain simulator/emulator infrastructure in C/C++
- Drive group level infrastructure/process improvement activities
- Participate in simulator/emulator evaluation

DESIRED:

- Experience with Verilog, System Verilog, System C, using OVM/UVM methods
- Knowledge of Perl, Python or other high level Scripting language
- Experience with at least one industry standard simulation tool along with building and maintaining a highly automated system level test bench
- Knowledge of digital logic design
- Knowledge of validation, automation, synthesis, and/or simulation
- Knowledge of CPU, Memory and IO Subsystem Architecture
- BSc, MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
