Job description:
You will be part of the thin film electronics group in supporting an ongoing R&D project for medical X-ray imager. This project requires the development of a high speed X-ray imager readout system designed around a novel X-ray image sensor and a custom designed readout IC.
Your responsibilities will include:
- PCB level design (timing and interconnectivity) of prototype controller systems
- Selection of the necessary electronic components to complete the electronic module (DC/DC convertors, memory, connectors, )
- Development of digital electronic hardware that may include high density/high performance FPGA's: Xilinx
- Development of VHDL code, debug and validate the design at hardware level
- Implementation of FPGA timing constraints and performance evaluation using timing analysis
Profile:
-You have a Master degree or equivalent experience in Electronics Engineering
-You are results driven and flexible to meet stringent deadlines with quality output.
-You have experience with measurements and interpretation of electrical signals on systems
-You have experience in FPGA programming
-Having a good knowledge on the following is a plus:
o Signal integrity on high speed designs
o Python
o C/C++
-the environment requires a good team player with competent communication and reporting skills.
-good knowledge of English is mandatory
