Hands-on Tester with Management Skills

For our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for a

HANDS-ON TESTER - MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGIES, MOTIVATED, PROGRAMMING KNOWLEDGE

Start: ASAP

Duration: initial contract of 12 months

Location: Zurich

In this project you will be helping to build out the functionalities of a trading and analytics IT platform.

You will implement and maintain formal testing processes and end user training, plan and conduct the business user acceptance testing, set up and maintain manual regression testing suite, and much more other responsibilities.

To be successful in this role, the follow skills are needed:

Essentials Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience with creating test cases from both user stories and through informal dialog with key users

* Experience conducting business analysis in an agile environment (ie writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, etc.)

* Knowledge of an automated testing environment

* Previous experience in the Finance/Insurance industries (ideally within Trading/Portfolio Management)

* Strong analytic and problem solving skill

* Good client communication skills/able to independently liaise with end users

* Flexible on moving targets/changing requirements

* Good oral/written communication, positive and proactive team attitude

* Good spoken and written English

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

* Previous experience with interactive mock-up tools and agile tools (JIRA)

* Higher Education, such as Bachelor Degree in Computer Science

* Good understanding of C# .net, MS SQL

* Good spoken and written German
