Hands on Project Manager, Banking - Dallas, TX

Global investment bank is looking for AVP level project manager to join their information technology team in Dallas. The Project Manager position is responsible for managing a the activities of a new team delivering projects against cost, schedule, quality and time.This team is responsible for maintaining static data for instruments, pricing, clients and counter-parties business lines. This team is responsible for implementing a scalable technology infrastructure to support their brokerage, clearing, and execution operations Duties include: * Project Management from inception through to development and deployment of business critical applications. * Creation of detailed project plans detailing deliverable while participating in overall program design * Working directly with project stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit Business Requirements, formally document these requirements for project prioritization and system development * Stakholder Management * Working with IT resources to assist in the design of solutions to satisfy all business requirements * Perform data analysis in support of a particular project Requirements: * 3 plus years of Project Management experience * Bachelors Degree in computer science * 3 plus years of system development experience This is a permanent position based in Dallas Texas and will pay a base between $90 - $120K plus bonus.
