HANA Developer

For our client in Den Haag, the netherlands, we are currently looking for a BW HANA Designer/Developer.

STARTING MID OCTOBER, FOR AT LEAST 5 MONTHS.

The team is predominately project focused, providing end to end involvement from inception to implementation. Members of the team work independently with both external partners and the business to successfully deliver projects. The client aims to deliver all of our projects into a unique, best-in-class, enterprise level data warehousing solution; providing organisation-wide and cross platform reporting.
Use of a strategic and centralised platform helps promote consistent application of concepts, standards and technology across the organisation, ultimately guaranteeing the long-term success and use of Business Intelligence within this client.

Experience and Qualifications required
Technical:
- At least 7 year experience in SAP BW
- Experience in the Oil industry
- Solid communication skills for communicating to stakeholders, on- and off-shore developers and be able to challenge functional and technical designs in order get as close a possible a solid design Hands on experience with modelling complex data flows in BW 7.3.
- Help in setting up best practices to model and implements existing BW data flow models on a BW system running on HANA.
- Experience with HANA and modelling concepts of using BW on HANA.
- Being able to translate existing models in the Shell ERS BW system to optimize them for running on HANA.
- Experience in designing complex transformations making use of all available tools (formulas, ABAP etc) to come to a optimized flexible high performing transformation.
- Building complex queries to fulfil the requirements set by functional project teams taking into account the reporting Front End tool that is being used.
- Experience with various Business Objects reporting tool. WEBI, Crystal, Dashboards, ZEN, Visual Intelligence, Business Objects Analysis.
