Grant Finance & Financial Management Specialist (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- As responsible for the financial aspect of funds allocated for a (multi)-country portfolio, the Specialist will review and approve grant investment decisions, financial forecasts, financial risk and assurance mechanisms
- He will foster innovation and support efficient implementation, including better absorbtion by monitoring internal controls, and rapid problem identification and action planning
- The Specialist will strenghten financial capacity by ensuring that financial reporting requirements and data models provide strategic information for decision making (eg. governance, management) and report to major donors of the organization and partner institutions
- In collaboration with the Health Finance Department, he will develop and implement the innovative financing mechanism; coordinate, engage, establish strategic relationship and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on effective design and implementation of innovative financing mechanism
- As a project manager, the candidate will create a working group to establish a strategic relationship and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the effective design of a Cashless Payment Solution
- The Specialist will be responsible of inancial Data Quality and Triangulation by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of validated financial data (including grant budgets, in-country expenditure, cash balances and the associated financial absorption indicators)

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Advanced Degree in Finance (Masters in Finance or MBA Finance), accounting or related field
- Or university degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and Economics or related field, may be accepted if in a related function with a Finance Department performing similar tasks in was completed
- Project management qualification
