Job Description:

Communications Storage and Infrastructure division in DCSG is looking to fill the position of Technical Intern this summer for Wireless Base Station in Cloud, Traditional and Small cell segments. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for helping the team in implementation of Intel's platform for Multi-standard (2G/3G, LTE, LTE-Advanced) Base Station comprising of IA CPU and Wireless chipset. The implementation areas include system design, verification and integration. The candidate will also work on prototyping next generation platform definition for this segment including implementation of baseband/signal processing algorithms, Simulation and FPGA emulation.

QUALIFICATIONS

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and/or Electrical Engineering

Candidate should have knowledge and preferably hands on experience in one or more of the following: C/C++, Assembly language programming, Simulation Models, Matlab models, FPGA emulation, RTL implementation. Deep understanding of general computer architecture (CPU, memory, I/Os) and signal processing algorithms is highly desirable.
