GDPR Project Coordinator

GDPR Project Coordinator required for an International Customer based near to Lausanne, Switzerland.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS PROJECT IS THE ALIGNMENT WITH GDPR (2017-2018)

Phase I:

Data Inventory;

- review processing operations;
- review of all data flows;
- review where all our data is stored;
- review all the retention periods;
- review all the data transfers and access

Phase II:

- fix and adapt processing operations based on the Phase I findings;
- align all our policies (HR, WEB, Privacy Policies, Consent form, etc);
- adapt all our data transfer mechanisms;
- align with GDPR: legal basis, access rights, retention periods, data breach mechanism, etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Adapt and implement a full project management plan;
- Organize and lead periodic review and steering committee meetings;
- Drive the project with a virtual team ensuring the policy implementation;
- Draft Standard Operating Procedures;
- Effectively manage the project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved;
- Ensure all project documents are safely archived following project completion;

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Proven Project management skills, using strong methodologies, to drive the implementation of the upcoming GDPR with a focus on web compliance and related data protection matters.
- Leadership and Excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to convince, listen and foster all stakeholders which will be part of this project.
- Understanding of the complexities and sensitivities related to the implementation of regulatory driven projects.
- Robust approach and methodology -experience in conducting regulatory compliance projects.
- Rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment.

KNOWLEDGE:

- EU digital/web legal compliance

LANGUAGES:

- Fluent English, additional European languages an asset
