Front End - Web Developer (UI, HTML 5, CSS, Javascript)

Yoh has a six (6) month contract to hire opportunity for a SENIOR FRONT END - WEB DEVELOPER (UI, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript) with its client in Houston, Texas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The primary responsibilities of the FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER position include: updating maintaining and implementing a web-based application and working with current web development tools to meet future initiatives and to increase the usability of the current website.
- Demonstrates a high proficiency in CODING JAVASCRIPT, HTML, AND CSS2/CSS3.
- Identify and solve technical problems.
- Implement complex requirements and work with a deep dependency chain.
- Plan and prioritize work for large projects into phased deliverables.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Lead development team to implement testing strategies for usability, design and functionality of website.
- Work with multiple teams to create and revise page templates according to specs.
- PERIODICALLY REVIEWING AND OPTIMIZING SITE-WIDE CSS AND JAVASCRIPT TO INCREASE PERFORMANCE AND MINIMIZE LOAD TIME.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- .Net, C# expertise
- UI Development expertise
- Proficiency with JavaScript; working knowledge of graceful degradation.
- Write and integrate with client-side application code (eg advanced JavaScript, jQuery).
- Create standards-compliant, cross-browser-compatible HTMLvisit our website to learn more about our company.
