What will you be doing as Freelance All-round Senior Developer?

For a good client of myself who is currently expanding their Development Lab, I am looking for an experienced Freelance all-round Senior Java Developer where as a member of one of a Scrum team, you will find much to learn and discover as you use a wide variety of technologies and frameworks to take on the stimulating challenges the job has to offer.
Some of your daily responsibilities will be:
- Development of new applications as well as extensions to the current applications
- Assisting functional and technical testers reviewing peer deliverables
- Providing input to technical writers
- Discussing business requirements with the Product Owner and translating into solid designs

What do we expect as Freelance All-round Senior Developer

To fulfil your role as Freelance All-round Senior Java Developer duties, following skills / techniques / methods are required:
- Proficient in Java (JSE/ JEE)
- Knowledge of the Hibernate/ JPA persistence framework
- Hands on experience with XML and related technologies (XSL/XSLT, XPath, SAX, DOM)
- Experience with JUnit
- Working experience with Maven / ANT
- Database design and programming skills (i.e. Oracle, SQL Server)
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Team-player as well as a strong individual

Furthermore following skills an techniques are beneficial:
- Fluent Dutch (preferably native)
- Experience in web services development in REST
- Knowledge of application servers such as Weblogic, Websphere etc.
- Spring/ Struts/JSF Web framework experience
