Financial Manager Job

FINANCIAL MANAGER needed for a CONTRACT HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in Emeryville, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- BA/BS with 6 years' experience or MBA with 4 years' experience
- Experience developing financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis
- Dependable and reliable

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Conducts moderately complex technical analysis to report on future and current financial performance.
- This includes internal analyses on budgets, forecasts, operating results, business plans and investment opportunities.
- Leads the budgeting and forecasting processes for one or more functional areas.
- Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending and results analysis, using various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, statistical and graphics packages.
- Implements financial planning and control processes and systems.
- Participate in and support month-end closing process
- Provides decision support by interpreting financial transactions and events for users who must make economic or business decisions.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives and updating of budgeting and forecasting policies and procedures.
- Data analysis is complex and requires input from multiple sources and innovative problem-solving.
- Interfaces to negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BA/BS with 6 years' experience or MBA with 4 years' experience
- Understands variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

- Experience with SAP.
