ROLE TITLE: Financial Data Analyst

ROLE PURPOSE:

- Global Data Services is made up from 3 groups: Global Market Data within HSBC Securities Services, Global Data Operations from GB&M, and Reference Data IT.
- Our principle objective is to deliver consistent, high quality, accurate data to core strategic processing systems, minimising operational errors and avoiding losses

MAIN DUTIES:

To assist in both the research work for Market Data standards, and the proactive investigation required to ensure the business is aware of, and prepared to cope with, changes in market practice and moves into new market areas.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Hold a financial services related 2:1 degree or hold Investment related qualification is a must.
- Ability to plan and organise workload, taking into account relative priorities
- Ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines
- Strong relationships skills/ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Good knowledge of international investment markets
- Flexible approach to working hours and environment
