Financial Controller - Qualified Accountant - Banking

My client are one of the biggest banks in the world and who are currently going through some major change and transformation as a result of regulatory changes that have impacted the business. They have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller with a accountancy qualification to join a Treasury function of the bank.

In order to be considered for this position candidates must have the following skills and experience:

- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in either a banking or treasury environment previously.
- Proficient with Profit and Loss Balance Sheet Management, cash settlements and monthly financial reporting.
- Ability to operate effectively within an environment of change
- Good understanding of common IRHPs (eg structured collars, collars, caps, floors, vanilla interest rate swaps)
- Proven ability to present accurately both financial models and a written representation of the model and its conclusions
- Good understanding of the UK banking sector, awareness of key issues and implications. Recruitment Zone acting as an employment business in regard to this advert.
