Finance Manager (Property)

My Energy & Utilities Client is seeking a qualified, commercially focused Property Finance Manager with proven expertise of working within a Property team of a large organisation providing decision support for new property projects and providing financial advice and manage budgets. The role is responsible for all financial accounting and reporting, financial governance, risk & controls and financial integrity for property expenditure, working with finance teams across the organisation.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Accountable for all transaction, accounting, & reporting activity for property costs.
- Provide advice and guidance to the Director of Property, Head of Facilities and Group Head of Estates on all property financial and accounting matters.
- Ensure all accounts are prepared in accordance with IFRS or UK GAAP requirements and provide technical accounting guidance.
- Coordinate and manage the consolidation of property spends, monthly out-turn forecast and month end process and the core property costs Three Year planning process.
- Provide high quality and insightful reporting on the monthly consolidated property performance and consolidated forecasts
- Work with external auditors and provide analysis of the property financial position.
- Influence, drive and support delivery of finance process across the organisation and their two principle outsourced contractors.
- Manage and develop one direct report.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated qualified accountant with strong attention to detail and a high degree of commercial acumen. You must possess exception quality standards and always seek to push for new processes, systems and outputs. You must have experience of working within a property teams and have leadership across teams. You will have excellent stakeholder skills with the ability to lead and influence finance and business leaders whilst working under pressure.
