Facilities Support Job

Yoh has CONTRACT opportunities for a FACILITIES MAINTENANCE PROFESSIONAL to join our client in Rochester, NY.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

- Follow instructions from business leadership relating to maintenance technician activity for improvement ideas, facility maintenance, project planning and EHS support.
- Point of contact for vendors selected for planned facility changes and repairs.
- Coordination of vendors for facilities maintenance and repairs
- Perform basic facility maintenance requests including:
- Basic electrical and mechanical repairs
- Painting and Drywall repairs
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Coordinate and perform office moves and cubical setups
- Perform manufacturing equipment and system maintenance
- Fabrication of solutions to improve shop floor work areas
- Preventive maintenance of manufacturing and facilities equipment
- Perform audits and maintenance of the ESD system
- Calibration of manufacturing power tools and soldering equipment
- Ensure high level of client satisfaction by establishing and maintaining positive relationship
- Ensure time, quality resolution for customer/client inquiries
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
- Work with the EHS manager to coordinate and close facilities related EHS and Ergonomics concerns
- Determine root cause and implement a cost effective and timely solutions
- Complete facilities EHS regulatory and non-regulatory inspections
- EHS Element ownership of health and safety housekeeping

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum five (5) years experience maintenance technician
- Minimum two (2) years experience/involvement with planning projects
- Prior maintenance experience (hands-on)
- Project management experience
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to work effectively with team members
- Knowledge and exp in MS Office
- Motivated and responsible, must be able to work independently
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Ability to work from heights, ladders and scaffolds
