ERP Implementation Lead

Our client, a medium sized distribution business (t/o £300m) based in London seeks an experienced ERP Implementation project manager for a 12-18 month contract. Any candidates considering this opportunity MUST be hands on and MUST have led multiple end-to-end implementations from build phase right through to completion, preferably within an SME manufacturing or distribution environment. The organisation's current system is now over 10 years old and needs to be upgraded (and future-proofed) and thus requires a technical systems specialist to define and drive the upgrade project across all functions, bringing a track record a multiple, successful, start-finish ERP implementations. A previous upgrade attempt was aborted due to a lack of testing and belief in the success of the project and therefore because of the previous failure, coupled with the complexity of this upgrade a strong external project manager is sought to manage the project from start to finish.

Purpose of role

- Proactively lead the re-implementation of the new software including implementation of new processes in many areas. Test the solution rigorously prior to implementation.
- Lead a full project team and be a key player in the project steering group.
