One of our clients, an International trade business based in Geneva are in the market for an experience enterprise/solution architect to manage a Ocean Transportation  ERP/ETRM implementation program, working with global stakeholders and technical teams across multiple offices in Europe and US.

SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE

- Develop and champion project solution architecture. 
- Support the translation of business needs into solution architecture requirements, application of multiple technical solutions to business problems, and estimation of the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives

PROJECT EXECUTION

- Evaluate project impacts and escalate issues and risk appropriately
- Own integration scenarios including process, application, data, technical, and security components
- Develop and execute test scripts
- Develop functional designs, as needed
- Review all functional design and configuration rationale documents for quality and integration.

INTEGRATION AND COLLABORATION

- Partner with internal and external subject matter experts to design and develop global learning solutions and training materials.
- Consult with Solution Architects and Process Architects to align the project deliverables with the Program standards, templates, and Reference Architecture
- Identify cross-Major Process integration issues and work with fellow Process Architects, the Integration Lead, and Solution Architects to develop and recommend issue resolutions to the Design Team Leads

EXPERIENCE  

- 10+ years of business experience with diverse operational, development and business roles.     
- 5+ years experience with business process design and improvement. 
- Deep application knowledge in at least one major process area, with working knowledge of applications in at least one other major process area     
- Experience working on at least one full life cycle ERP implementation, preferably in a global organization.     
- Experience leading large-scale initiatives (eg multi-million, multi-year, global scope, multi BU/Platform)     
- Experience leading a global team

TECHNICAL SKILLS   

- Proven ability to work effectively within a large organization that operates using Matrix management structures.
- Strong conceptual strength,strategic thinking, problem solving, technical, and analytical skills  
- Excellent project management,planning, and organizational skills 
- Good understanding of project principles; including planning, cost, quality, schedule, gated process and critical path management    
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with a large people component    
- Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies

EXPERIENCE    

- Experience with trading business, in specific - ocean, marine transportation
- Experience with SAP ECC  would be an advantage    
- Experience with TPT - Triple Point Technology/CXL/SL/VESSEL OPS/SOFTMAR would be a particular advantage
- Experience with other ETRM, CTRM, Commodity/Energy Trading & Risk Management, Logistic, Marine/Transportation Systems
- Experience with Veson would be a particular advantage

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Knowledge of all components of  enterprise architecture    
- Industry certification (Examples include ITIL, APICS, six sigma, etc).
