Embedded Software Engineer

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER REQUIRED

*Work for the World's Leading Computer Components Manufacturer*

This candidate will work with members of the platform architecture team in developing working proof-of-concept, performing benchmark analysis and writing architecture specifications. Other responsibilities would include generating and assimilating data to perform Platform Level Tradeoffs such as power, performance, battery life, cost, and size to set the architecture for the platform. There will be multiple software projects ranging from application, frameworks and low-level driver projects.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Embedded Linux development
- DMA driver development
- I2c/SPI bus driver development
- Strong C programming and debugging skills required (4+ years)
- BS/MS degree in CS/Computer Engineering

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Experience in developing Android Apps/SW (2+ years)
- Android OS internals
- Java, C++ and NDK skills on Android OS
- Strong initiative, strong communication and superior problem solving skills

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of related work required.
