Electronics Lecturer (Circuits)

ECS Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Electrical Lecturer for a 1 month contract based in Essex. - Starting 5th May 2015

We require an experienced Lecturer who is comfortable delivering on topics to include;

- Circuit board's
- Semi-Conductors
- Resistors

*Due to the nature of this position, you will be required to undergo a CRB and enhanced security check.* - This will be carried out by ourselves

* Up to £25.00 per hour

Essential Criteria

- Experienced Lecturing in a Further Education or Academy Environment
- Some experience delivering or teaching Electronic components
- Hold a teaching qualification (ie PTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed or similar)
- Ideally hold an Assessors award (Training can be provided)

Responsibilities

- Support and tutor students on-site who are currently undertaking apprenticeships in Engineering Operations at level 2 and 3
- Lecturer and Tutor topics including Circuit board's, Semi-Conductors and Resistors (All training material and workshops are already available)
- Provide any additional and on-going to support to students when required
- Provide candidates with individual feedback and actions as specified in the assessment plan and Individual Learner portfolios
- Ensure all portfolio's are submitted for IQA check in a timely manner
- Act as a tutor to learners, providing academic guidance and support.
- Be flexible to undertake additional training and development
