MY DUTIES:

- Specification, design, and development of electronic / electrical assemblies for the control of mechanisms for space application and for ground based scientific and industrial projects
- Specification, design and development of electronics for the laboratory verification of mechanisms
- Create purchasing specifications for electrical / electronic components and assemblies including the selection of EEE / Space approved components
- Document all activities in English according to the ESA and / or internal Engineering / PA / QA standards and guidelines
- Preparation and participation of technical design reviews with suppliers and customers

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or similar
- Profound experience with hardware design: circuit design, simulation of the functionality using CAD and layout generation
- Experience working in lab environment with the test of PCBs and electronics systems
- Good experience in writing technical documentation
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EN 9100 environment
- Advanced level of English; German is a strong asset
