Electrical Engineer - Facilities Job

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - FACILITIES needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Hillsboro, OR.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Electrical systems in semiconductor facilities
- Specialty codes (NEC/NFPA 70)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Electrical Engineer will assist on construction projects for semiconductor fabrication facilities including support buildings and systems.
- Electrical Engineer will interface and coordinate with contract design, construction, and estimating resources, and internal customers to enable facility development efforts for Electrical systems.
- Electrical Engineer efforts will include definition of design criteria, development of design concepts, completion of detailed design, and development of project.
- Electrical Engineer on construction projects for semiconductor fabrication facilities including support buildings and systems.
- Other duties include preparing engineering Estimates for new or modified work scopes, schedules, and safety requirements, and facilitating project commissioning activities.
- Designs, tests, installs, and maintains large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing or power generation or transmission.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- MINIMUM of a BS and seven (7) years related experience required.
- Working knowledge of specialty codes (NEC/NFPA 70).
- Experience managing design, construction, and startup Electrical systems in semiconductor facilities.
- Capable of developing electrical design concept for power distribution systems (electrical one-line and sketches), and detail scope document to support estimators needs.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- PE is preferred.
- Experience with Easypower software (or SKM suite) for load analysis and problem resolution.
