Electrical Design Engineer

ELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - YORKSHIRE - 6 MONTHS

My client is looking for a number of Electrical Design Engineers with the following skills:

- Safe, efficient and cost effective design of electrical control and distribution systems.
- Ensure engineering design output meets customer specifications and all relevant national, international and industry standards, directives and codes.
- Ensure all work is completed on time, to an agreed specification and within budget. Where necessary advise your manager of any variation, quality, safety, overspend or deviation to programme.
- Perform system calculations and studies for electrical power systems - load flow, voltage drop, motor starting and short circuit studies.
- With high quality and attention to detail, producing and/or reviewing EC
- Electrical schematics
- Electrical distribution equipment specifications
- Vendor technical specifications
- Control philosophy, FDS
- P&ID's
- User requirement specification
- I/O, alarm and trip schedules
- Equipment data sheets
- Instrument schedules
