Devops roll-out Integrator

An exciting time to join my Financial services client based in the heart of Brussels on an agile transformation programme. They are looking for a DevOps roll-out Integrator to integrate hands-on the new DevOps techniques together with new future end-users, such as creating new release pipelines with automated or manual tasks, in a new central tool based on existing release runbook data.

The DevOps Roll-out integrator will help the product development teams apply the new DevOps practises and adopt/integrate the tools automating the build, testing, deployment and Release Orchestration processes.

The successful candidate must have an end to end SDLC view and strong hands on skills. The success of the integration is measured based on the effective usage of the new defined DevOps practices, tools and standards of the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hand-on help agile development teams, ideally in a co-creation mode,

- Set up and automate Build, Deploy & Release processes for the teams
- Implement Behaviour-Driven Development or API/Contract First testing

Integrate the deliverables (tools and new processes) of the DevOps programme within the existing platform, meaning:

- Customizations and configuration of the existing tools/plugins
- Interconnection of the tools/plugins on the platform
- Accompany development teams with the correct implementation/best practices and use of processes and tools

THE EXISTING PLATFORM COVERS:

- Continuous build/integration
- Automated deployment
- Code scanning tools (quality/security)
- Testing tools: unit testing, test automation, service virtualization, performance testing, test management
- Collaboration tools
- Release Management
- Workstation development tools

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Demonstrable relevant professional experience
- Thorough experience working in or with Agile development teams
- Strong integration experience
- Good understanding of the SDLC
- Experience in implementation of continuous build, integration and deployment systems
- Experience in the administration, setup and maintenance of
- Jenkins as continuous build and integration platform
- Experience in Java development and build using Maven
- Experience with source code (SVN/Git) and artefact repositories (Nexus)
- Experience with Scripting languages for automation
- Experience in code scanning tools (Sonar/Fortify) is a plus
- Experience in mobile development tools for Android and IOS platforms is a plus
- Experience on Windows platforms
- Experience on Linux platforms
