Devops Profile with PM Seniority

T4S Solutions are partnered with a prestigious Customer in the Public Sector and are looking for a DevOps profile but with PM seniority to work on long term freelance contract.

NATURE OF THE TASKS

This expert resource will take-up the following task assignments within the context of Identity and Access Management components:

- Management of the complete development life cycle (planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, operation, support, documentation and change management) of different modules of the identity and access management infrastructure, such as authentication systems, repositories, provisioning processes and administration tools.
- Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in a specific area of ICT infrastructure technology.
- Review and assessment of the security aspects of information systems and proposals for improvement.
- Review of Information Systems Infrastructure Architectures
- Adoption of a test driven approach with the delivery of unit tests, integration tests, performance tests and the setup of a continuous integration delivery platform.
- Delivery of the technical documentation, software release notes and presentations to management.
- Compliance with a standard way of working within the sector Digital Services supported by a central documentation wiki (CITnet Confluence), a project follow-up web application (CITnet Jira) and a common version control system (CITnet Subversion and/or Git).
- Support, consultancy and advice for identity and access management related matters to the various development teams at the EC.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

- Experienced team leader
- Experienced Java developer
- Knowledge of information systems infrastructure architectures
- Top expertise in the related ICT infrastructure technologies:
- the Java programming language and of the Java virtual machine including its internal mechanisms, such as class loading and garbage collection

Specific expertise:

- JEE technology and Oracle Weblogic including its internal security
- Excellent knowledge and significant working experience with web technologies including HTTP
- Good knowledge of web services including SOAP and REST
- Good knowledge of relational databases including SQL
- Good knowledge of directories including LDAP
- Knowledge of web security and of the techniques used to mitigate security risks is an asset
- Knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography including key management, encryption, signature and hashing is an asset
- Experience with web technologies other than Java, such as ColdFusion and PHP is an asset
