Development Team Lead, Architect with previous experience of developing highly functional search technology, required for a leading online business.

This role will see the Development Team Lead take ownership of the search department, analysing the current technology with the view to re-architecting and re-releasing their next generation Search application.

If you have developed bespoke technology this will be highly advantageous however we are ideally looking for someone who has experience of one or more of the following technologies:

. HP Autonomy
. Solr
. Lucene
. Elasticsearch
. Fast ESP
. Amazon Cloud
. Xapian

Exposure to Big data technologies, algorithm and analytics techniques also highly advantageous.

The Development Team Leader will be given the opportunity to scope out and suggest the best technologies for the role as part of the overall responsibility in this department.

You will work with a highly experienced team of development and technology professionals so you must have prior experience of leading development and testing teams, ideally coming from a programming background yourself.
