Development Service Aide Job

DEVELOPMENT SERVICE AIDE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Experience working with children in a long term care or outpatient setting
- Medical Terminology knowledge

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will work with children as a development service aide
- Support the clinicians as needed, setting up and breaking down the classroom after each session
- Basic reception duties, helping the parents of patients schedule return appointments, data entry of care received, appointments
- Under the supervision of the clinician, will document and provide care and associated tasks as assigned
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care is provided

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in OT/PT/Speech or Audiology Preferred
- Two (2) year's of previous experience as a developmental service aide in an outpatient/inpatient or long term care pediatric setting
- Strong Medical Terminology knowledge
- Excellent data entry skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaker preferred
- Computer literate
