Developer, MS Team Foundation Server, VB.NET, Visual Studio, Banking

BACKGROUND: You will join the Tooling Services unit within the Application Development team of this Brussels based international bank, as a Specialist in Microsoft Team Foundation Server. Tooling Services is responsible for the definition, implementation and maintenance of an optimal tooling model supporting the project delivery methodology and application life cycle. The tooling model is designed to improve the quality of the project deliverables, limit the risks of production changes and to allow a smooth and controlled delivery of the bank's internal products throughout the Project life cycle.

MAIN TASKS:

The implementation and rollout of Microsoft Team Foundation Server to the bank's development community:

- Install and configure the product;
- Setup an adequate source code control and versioning process;
- Determine the quality policies;
- Implement the process template;
- Set up the Build process;
- Setup an adequate disaster recovery and monitoring process;
- Implement the Security and privileges in line with Euroclear expectations;
- Put in place the reporting and analysis.

Secondary Tasks (occasional for the change and configuration management aspects):

- Analysing .NET build failures;
- Maintenance of the virtual builder infrastructure;
- Development support to colleagues in the Tooling Services team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

- Minimum 3 years experience in VB.NET;
- Minimum 3 years experience Visual Studio 2010;
- Minimum 1 year experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:
C#, different Source control/revision systems (Clearcase, SVN,...), basic knowledge of Unix commands and Perl.
