HOURS: M-F, 8-5

PAY RATE: $16.00

About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced Deskside Support Technician to be brought on for a Contract to hire opportunity with one of our Fortune 500 Company. We are wanting someone who is qualified in all aspects of hardware and software support especially in XP and Windows 7 environments.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Strong working knowledge of smartphones and tablets including Blackberry, IPhone and IPad. Software Support
- Ability to support business software in a corporate environment.
- Incudes install, configuration, troubleshooting and training of Windows XP, Windows 7 and Office 2010 and other task specific and internal software. Hardware Break/Fix Support
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair client desktops, laptops and printers in an office environment.
- Experience with DELL products a plus. Printer Issue Troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot multifunction and single user Xerox and HP printers. Basic repair and ability to determine root cause of printing issue. Windows 7, Office 2K10
- Troubleshoot and fix Operating System errors and issues.
- Repair and customize full Office 2010 Suite of software and train clients on interface. Safeboot Admin
- Escalation point for L2 Safeboot issues, possess a full understanding of the product and work with COE to resolve account and/or Workstation issues, own the resolution of all issues. RSA/Remote Access
- Manage deployment of remote access tokens, manage local token inventory. Ticketing System
- Monitor ticket queue to ensure all tickets are being addressed, assigned.

COMMUNICATION

- Strong verbal and written communicator, go getter attitude who will take an issue and run with it until closure.
- Ability to take an assigned project, manage it through its duration, and resolve any issues with the highest user satisfaction.

- Must possess ability to work directly with clients, and communicate progress while working toward resolution of issues.
- All candidate selections are contingent upon successfully passing both background and drug screening.
- Background check requirements: 7 year criminal background
- Drug Screening: 5 Panel drug screen
- Additional screens including: Credit Check, Federal, Education, and/or Employment verification may be required upon request of end client.
