DCS ENGINEER
One of our leading tech clients is urgently looking for a DCS Engineer for a long contract in Norway. The successful DCS Engineer will be a key technical Team member involved in reverse engineering, development and testing, Study and understand the process and functionality of the existing DCS (controller, HMI, interfaces to sub-systems) and ESD system, Reverse Engineering and export existing DCS, ESD logics into functional documents, Migrate the functions into the new DCS platform(controller, HMI, interfaces) and be responsible for Testing, Validation and FAT.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
APACS+ DCS, Quadlog ESD, ABB 800XA DCS, DCS migration, Functional Safety Certification
Hands on experience in designing, developing and implementing DCS (Distributed Control System includes controllers, HMI) - Hardware, network interface and application
Hands on experience in designing, developing and implementing ESD (Emergency Safety Devices)
Reverse Engineering/upgrade - Legacy to Latest DCS Platform
Experience working on APACS, APACS+ and Quadlog systems
Experience working on ABB DCS 800XA
Understanding P&I, Panel wiring drawings, control wiring and fields drawings IT Skills - C, Database knowledge
Preferably with offshore certificates
Functional Safety Certification (like TUV)
CONTRACT: 1 year + Likely extention.
LOCATION: Norway
