Description Job Summary
- This position is primarily responsible for processing membership for Amgen commercial contracts and additionally processing daily chargeback data from our wholesalers.
- Responsibilities include: Process contract membership, pricing, and chargeback data on a daily basis.
- QA/QC data entered and received.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies related to customer information, contract alignment and eligibility, pricing, etc.
- Position operates within a fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate will possess the ability to take initiative, resolve complex membership issues, work independently and exercise appropriate business judgment.
- Performs other administrative functions and special projects as needed
- Complete assigned activities accurately and on time

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Three (3) plus years of experience in finance, accounting or a data analysis role.
- Internal Amgen experience or experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment preferred
- Very strong computer & M/S Office skills.
- Develops spreadsheets models for moderately complex financial analyses.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communicates effectively within department.
- High attention to detail/reporting accuracy, while also able to focus on the overall problem/solution
- Translates high volumes of data into meaningful information to support key business decisions
- Complex problem solving capability that identifies problems within the department and develops solutions from a strategic and operational perspective
- Team player, supports team members as needed
