Customer Communications Manager

OUR NATION-WIDE RAIL CLIENT REQUIRE A CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM IN MILTON KEYNES ON A CONTRACT BASIS TO WORK WITH BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CUSTOMERS OF THE ORGANISATIONTO ENSURE THE EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT DELIVERY OF SERVICES.

The contractor will be accountable for ongoing development and delivery of a communications strategy, and will lead and implement customer communications activities that relate to the sales and marketing of services.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Develop and maintain a communications strategy for the department concerning customer delivery services.

Produce and maintain a communications plan,detailing activities and resources necessary for implementation

Develop and implement a governance framework for all customer communications activities

Produce periodic Questionnaires, customer opinion and perception reports

Support the development and alignment of wider communication activities being undertaken across the department to ensure that the customer focus is always maintained

Create a specific style for all communication activities and ensure that this is consistently applied to all communications

Review all examples of Customer communications and update accordingly to ensure alignment to communications strategy and style

Ensure that all customer domains are represented fully as part of all customer communication.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Has worked in a communications position in the rail industry or closely linked industry, and knowledge of regulatory framework

Significant experience in the provision of communication and management information

Excellent communication skills with proven ability to present information effectively and appropriately using a range of verbal and written methodologies

Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders to understand their requirements

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Ability to clearly communicate complex issues to a diverse audience
