COVER SUPERVISORS

Term Time Only plus 2 INSET days (or equivalent for CPD).

United Learning Salary Scale £12,099.38 (actual salary per annum)

Hours 31.25 per week 8.15 am to 3.00 pm daily (inclusive of a 30 minute break).

We are looking for Cover Supervisors to join our dedicated team of staff. They will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers, giving instructions for the lesson and ensuring good order is maintained and students are on task.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will be a bright and enthusiastic graduate, ideally with previous experience of working with children or young adults. Employment as a Cover Supervisor provides excellent experience to be able to access a PGCE or Schools Direct route into teaching. If you are an experienced Cover Supervisor and do not have a degree but have the relevant experience please still apply for this post.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST:

- A STRONG CLASSROOM PRESENCE
- THE ABILITY TO BUILD A QUICK RAPPORT WITH YOUNG ADULTS
- THAT YOU ARE AN ENTHUSIASTIC, MOTIVATING ROLE MODEL

No two days will be the same as a Cover Supervisor. You will be required to undertake admin and other support duties as directed when not providing cover.
