Content and Learning Project Manager

Kew is the world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a major visitor attraction, that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew's mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life.

Kew's Temperate House (TH) is the largest surviving Victorian glasshouse in the world and is currently undergoing a five-year restoration project with significant funding support from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF). On schedule to open in 2018, the TH will include new interpretation that engages the public in learning about plants and Kew science and expand Kew's involvement with communities and schools.

We are looking for an experienced project manager, working to the highest professional standards, to deliver the Interpretation and Activity plan. You must have an understanding of delivering projects in a major visitor attraction and be able to demonstrate effective planning, management, negotiation, communication and leadership skills.

Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will operate within tight deadlines and be able to prioritise your own workload effectively. You will manage a budget of approximately £2M and be responsible for preparing documents and reports for meetings and activities that require sign-off for project deliverables.
