COMMERCIAL PROPERTY LAWYER (TELECOMS) - READING - CONTRACT

We are currently recruiting for an MRICS qualified Commercial Property Lawyer or Project Manager with experience in Telecoms particularly Landlord and Tenant legislation.

This is an ongoing contract position working for a rapidly growing company in Reading, Berkshire.

As Commercial Property Lawyer you will provide dispute resolution advice to the Business and in particular the Estates team, you be responsible for risk mitigation and control costs to ensure litigation spend is within budget. You will need to provide advice to include all matters related to (commercial) landlord and tenant legislation within the UK and Code rights.

Part of your role will be to manage and resolve hostile and non-hostile sites, breaches of agreement (landlord or tenant breaches), rent review arbitration and access issue resolution. You will undertake monthly reviews of all issues to ensure that activity is resolved in a timely and cost effective manner, whilst limiting the risk to the business. Review sites to see if litigation is needed and discuss the best legal Remedy.

REQUIREMENTS:

- MRICS qualified (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in estate property management or property dispute management - ideally within the telecoms industry managing sites.
- Good experience of managing external suppliers
- Commercially astute
- Knowledge and experience of law and property, including Landlord & Tenant 1954 Act
