ROLE

To project manage the planning, development and delivery of the digital presence for the clients global contracts business. The plan is to develop the presence in-house, using a combination of resources from other teams, supplemented by external contractors.

To ensure that the digital solution is effective and efficient in achieving the main goal of increasing the impact of the client whilst being in line with the clients Corporate strategy and developments.

To ensure that the planning, development and delivery of the digital presence meets the agreed specification, timeline and budget.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

- Marketing and Customer Services
- Financial Planning and Management
- Website project planning: business analysis, functional specification (technical), work-flow planning

Internal consultancy skills: managing diverse stakeholders and client expectations - Understanding tools and best practice used to improve user experience and usability of websites
- Understanding of social media channels

EXPERIENCE

- Full life cycle management of web projects from planning to build, maintenance and re-development
- Managing external agencies and suppliers and building positive long-term relationship with external providers and partners
- Conducting testing and giving analytical feedback on technical web development
- Managing web projects with complex technical requirements linked to bespoke database applications
- Consulting on best use of social media channels
