Clinical Research Nurse

A Phase I accredited Clinical Research Unit are seeking to appoint a Clinical Research Nurse to work on trials focussing on CNS, Oncology and Vaccines.

The Successful Clinical Research Nurse must have at least six months post registration experience in a clinical environment. They will work within a small team and conduct all specific clinical procedures on study subjects; this will include assisting in the receiving, dispensing and accountability for the study medication.

For this role the successful Clinical Research Nurse will be expected to use thier own initiative to solve problems on a wide range of routine matters, but will need to adhere to Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) guidelines and Good Clinical Practice training. You must also have life support and resuscitation skills training and be able to provide nursing support in the case of a medical emergency. They will have experience with working with relevant specialised equipment, software or procedures. The Successful Clinical Research Nurse will be willing to work outside regular office hours and to wear protective clothing.
