Rate: Circa £30.00 per hour Ltd/Umbrella

The Company:

An opportunity has arisen to join a leading engineering consultancy who specialise in offering CAE services and software engineering solutions to automotive, aerospace and manufacturing markets.

The Role:

As CAE Engineer you will be involved in CAE Analysis for new product development project. A key aspect of the CAE Engineers role will be to perform modal analyses, stiffness and stress analysis in Nastran for automotive interior trim components. The CAE Engineer will complete finite element analysis and dynamic impact analysis to optimise the safety and performance of the product, and ensure that the project adheres to legal and safety standards.

The CAE Engineer will also liaise with customers and project teams regarding any technical queries relating to the analysis elements of the project.

The Candidate:

As an experienced CAE engineer, you will be Degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and will have demonstrable experience of stress and CAE analysis. Within your previous roles you will have experience of Modal Analyses in Nastran or similar packages such as Abaqus, Ansa, LS Dyna, Medina, Hyperworks or Animator.
