CAD Technician

We are currently recruiting for a CAD Technician for a 6 Month contract based near Canary Wharf.

The role will be to provide Computer Aided Design expertise in the development and delivery of signalling equipment designs.

Mandatory Key Skills/Requirements

*High degree of competence in the application of Computer Aided Design methodology and application of Microstation Version 8
*Understanding of signalling design and the criticality of signalling systems and circuits
*Working knowledge of current drawing standards BS 3939 & BS 308
*Knowledge and application of value analysis and value engineering techniques
*Experience of scheme design, modification of relay interlocking circuits, relay racks scale plans and control tables
*Drawing/modification of wiring schedules, signals, cable routes, track circuits, and plans
*Computer literate in MS Office

Desirable Experience:

*Experience of developing detailed design directly using CAD
*Member of the IRSE
*IRSE Licence in category 1.1.110
