Job Title: CAD Engineer/CAD Designer/NX - Unigraphics

Our client is looking for an experienced CAD Engineer to carry out design changes to current production components on specific vehicle programmes in line with the change detail specified on the related engineering concern.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure design changes must include all affected components and next level assemblies up to first level Master Package/Usage Assembly.
- All Related Engineering drawings must also be updated as part of the change process, and supplied to the progressing Current Vehicle Engineer (CVE) to meet deadlines.
- Interrogate Goldcrest BOM (Purchasing BOM).
- Ensure all KPIs and annual plan targets are met.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Proficient in use on NX 7.5 CAD system both modelling and design detailing would be essential
- Experience of practical solving (PPS/8D)
- Experience in Failure Mode Avoidance (Drawing Study/Quality History)
- Implemented engineering changes by release essential.
- Knowledge of ideas CAD system would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings, tolerance structures and GD&T interpretation.
- Good understanding of vehicle structures and terminology
- Able to take lead in resolution of any CAD related issues essential.
