CAD Drafter

Immediate contract opportunity for CAD drafter with expertise in Solidworks, 3D modeling, detailing, machined parts and brazing just north of Boston, Massachusetts! Here is an excellent opportunity to land with a well established company in a great north shore location !

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Using Solidworks design software, perform 3D modeling and detailing of machined parts
- Develop product documentation using Solidworks
- Design, model and detail parts and assemblies
- Create, release and revise engineering models, drawings and parts lists
- Check design documentation for quality, accuracy, functionality and completeness
- Complete engineering change notices (ECN's)

REQUIREMENTS

- Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent CAD Software Training Certificate (BSME DESIRED)
- At least 1-2 years experience to include machined parts, sheet metal, weldments and assemblies
- Two plus years of Solidworks to include modeling and detailing
- Experience with Solidworks, 3D modeling, Detailing, Machined Parts and Sheetmetal
- Demonstrated self-starter type with excellent written and oral communication skills who has the ability to excel within a team environment
